Absolutely loved my experience at universal. Turner was the perfect salesman. He made the process quick and easy. I brought my young daughter with me so, I appreciate the fact that they had a kid friendly environment to keep her occupied. Over all my whole experience was great. I love my new car! I would definitely recommend to others.

Update - 3/20/24 A couple days went by and the noise was still there as I informed them it was, they got it back in and fixed the issue in a very timely manner! In the process the windshield got cracked somehow they informed me it would be taken care of also as well. Only downside is I have to repay for the tint and still haven't heard back but not a huge deal. I came across an issue with the 2nd loaner they put me in and John was quick to arrange and make sure I could get into another loaner. Granted I just put $30 into the loaner for gas that had an issue and then had to turn around and put another $50 into the new loaner so I was kinda bummed I lost out on the wasted gas but I'm supposed to get reimbursed for it but still haven't heard anything back from the beard man (Jon Day) yet on that.. but overall if I had to get another vehicle here I'd make sure to go Jon Day (big bearded fellow) because I know he will make sure im satisfied with everything before signing any papers without there being any pressure. 2/4/24 I came across the exact truck I was looking for here. They had many options giving the circumstances of finding the one I wanted in particular Jon Day (long bearded guy) was very patient with us and wasn't pushy at all. He even took us to another one of his dealer location and signed and what not. It was a pretty easy going process. I was driving the truck the very next day after getting it washed I was hearing a weird noise from the front end witch ended up being part of an intergrated wheel hub after they took a look at it I guess.. I also mentioned that the wipers didn't operate as they should fast setting was like your slowest setting on the wiper operation.. Bill the GM said they would honor the faulty wipers and the front end issue noise not having to pay out of pocket since that's something that should have been addressed and fixed before the vehicle was even sold. I had to drive an hour away just to get to this location but it was 100% worth it to get what I wanted. They could not get the repairs done same day so they gave me a nice loaner for a couple weeks so I could get back to work while the repairs were getting done. I have no gripes with my satisfaction from this location. Everyone has been friendly and patient with me. I highly recommend going and seeing Jon for a vehicle if you are in the market for one. I would recommend them! 5/5 stars for me! Thank you CDJR!

Looking for an SUV, I called up UNIVERSAL hoping I could find the SUV I was looking for. Jon Day was able to answer all my questions, and if he didn't know the answer, he called back. UNIVERSAL, Jon Day, and his management team are fantastic to work with. I did up buying a brand-new Buick with massive rebates (over $10k) at another dealer. I certainly wish UNIVERSAL would add BUICK to their lineup, as I'm 100% certain I would have made the purchase from this dealership. If you contact or visit this dealer, my suggestion is to ask for Jon Day, (long bearded guy). Your experience will be stress free, friendly, honest, and transparent.

Greatest dealership in the Universe, needed some very specific details fulfilled and the team that met those details did not miss a step! Having recently sold my truck, our family was down to one car (and we double as taxi drivers for 2 active sports kids), so I needed to find a new one in short order. Complicating matters, I’m picky when it comes to cars and had a tight budget to keep to. As I searched far and wide on 3rd party apps like CarGurus, I kept finding listings that would lead me to Universal Auto Plaza. I live on the complete opposite side of the KC metro, so was hesitant to commit to that trek. But I’m so glad I did. I was lucky to work with Turner Reed, who had a couple of cars ready for me to test out that day. He even had one brought in from another location on just a couple hours notice. I enjoyed getting to know Turner, and he made the whole buying experience run smoothly. Honestly, all of the folks at this dealership seem down to earth and it’s a very easy going low pressure atmosphere. Having been to a few other dealerships with high pressure corny sales cultures, I couldn’t have been more at ease. I would gladly do business with Turner and the broader team at Universal, and recommend them now to friends and family.
