Just had an excellent experience with Chris Witt and his team for my new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited purchase. He was very informative and helpful in assisting me with selecting my new suv. They were able to find the color I wanted and my preferred interior package. I had settled on a black interior because, at the time, it was only available. They went the extra mile and found one with a Gray interior color. It is exactly what I wanted. Price was very reasonable and financing was a pleasurable experience. Where to start? It's long but worth it. I live in Gulfport, MS. I called Chris Witt at Bay Hyundai about a vehicle they had in stock. Within four hours he had all the financial details and price figured out and we left the next day to pick it up. When we got there we signed the papers closed the deal and were out the door in 45 minutes, unbelievable! Well, when we got back to Gulfport my wife had some trouble adjusting to the vehicle and even though we tried to work through it we just couldn't. After ten days I called Chris and told him about the issues and he worked with his sales managers and they agreed to buy back our vehicle and we only had to pay $500 over the amount owed. When we arrived they treated us like gold again and after the deal was done they actually ended up giving us a refund of $1500 after the payoff. I couldn't believe it. This is not the type of treatment most customers expect from a car dealership. All I can say is they have a lifetime customer. If you are considering buying a vehicle from one of the brands they offer you couldn't find a better place in America to take your business. They say their mission is to provide an exemplary sales experience and they live up to their promise.

Last week I had a service appointment in Tallahassee about the paint peeling off my Hyundai Elantra, and they didn't tell me until I got there that they can't do paint and body work there, and that I'd have to go out of town to Panama City or Valdosta for that. I contacted Bay Hyundai and they were kind enough to take my information and work with a body shop and the Hyundai home office, and negotiated for Hyundai to cover half the cost of the repair plus a rental car while the work is being done. Will update this review once the process is completed.

4th Hyundai and love them. The cars have all the safety and convenience features without breaking the bank. Plus I have room to add on all the extra warranties because I like warranties. This location is beyond fabulous. My salesperson, Chris Witt, has continued taking care of me even after the purchase to make sure I'm happy. I am sending all my female relatives to him because he is a trustworthy, good ole boy who listens to all my questions with the patience of Job. He took me seriously. I enjoyed the process of buying my latest Hyundai because of Chris.

Reasons why you should go here (experience with Chris Witt): 1. No haggle required pricing- I asked what the out the door price would be, and Chris gave me the lowest price with all the rebates already included. I didn’t have to wait 20 minutes for them to “talk to their sales manager,” pay an extra premium “due to the scarcity of the car,” “oh we found an extra —— and we were able to drop it just a little,” or any other silly dealership games. The price they gave me the first time was the lowest price in the area. 2. Free delivery- I live 15 from a Hyundai dealership and I work 10 min from a different dealership. So why would I do business with someone 90 miles away from me? It cost me nothing and saved me thousands. Chris personally delivered directly to where I wanted, we were able to sign everything, and I drove off in my new car. 3. They let you breathe- I didn’t get 500 text and phone calls from Chris asking what I thought of the car or the price. Chris let you come to him instead of hounding you while you’re at work or directing a sales manager to also bother you. 4. I felt safe working with them- I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all during my car buying experience. I kept waiting for the “got ya” to pop up but it never did. What I agreed on at the beginning didn’t change as we worked out details and delivery. 5. Honesty- The biggest thing I was surprised by was Chris’ honesty. When working with dealerships, I always felt like they were trying to maximize and squeeze every penny out of me. However, Chris and I had honest conversations. We talked requirements and appropriate trim levels, we talked options and if they fit my life, and we talked trade in value. All counsel he gave me was like talking to a friend instead of a sales person. 6. Mutual respect- Generally speaking (stereotypically speaking), as female walking into the dealership, all I hear in the background is Jaws music. I didn’t get asked over and over what my husband thought, they didn’t explain things to me like I was 10, or any other insults to my intelligence or my ability to make a decision without my husband. Basically, I felt respected by Chris, and he didn’t have an ego or make me feel small. I say all of this to say, I guess I’m buying Hyundai’s from Chris for the next few decades, I hope they continue to make great cars.
