My experience at Texas Auto Sales has been outstanding. From the get go I felt valued as a customer. The vehicle I was interested in presented an issue during my test drive. They sent it for repairs and on my second test drive the issue presented itself again. It was then that the owner Gary insisted the vehicle be taken to one of the top rated repair facilities in the area. It was during this time that I had a one on one with Gary and he shared that the vehicle had already spent some time in the shop having another issue corrected. He shared with me that it was his goal to ensure all vehicles he presents for sale are in proper running order prior to them leaving the lot. I got the impression that he was genuine in his conviction. My salesman Lorenzo kept me updated on the status of repairs constantly even though I had only shown moderate interest in the vehicle. He went above and beyond ensuring I knew exactly what the issue was and how it was going to be corrected. Lorenzo also ensured I received top value for my trade in. He treated me fairly and with respect. Bottom line is that all used car dealers get their inventory with limited to no history. These vehicles were passed on by their previous owners for one reason or another. It is just as much a gamble for the used car dealer as it is for us as a consumer. It is then their goal to ensure the vehicle is ready both mechanically as well as visually for the next owner. Some vehicles may have no issues that are presented at all while others may have several as mine did. Either way the ownership and staff at Texas Auto Sales did their very best to ensure the vehicle I ended up purchasing was good to go. I will share that I did opt to have my intended vehicle purchase undergo a pre purchase mechanical inspection after all repairs were completed by TAS. I recommend anyone purchasing a used vehicle to have this done. While it does not guarantee there will be no further issues down the road, it does give you insight of possible or hidden issues prior to purchase. In conclusion to what has been a rather lengthy review is to remember these are used vehicles and anything can happen anytime. I have the utmost faith that Texas Auto Sales did their best to ensure that the vehicle I purchased was at the time of sale mechanically sound. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a used vehicle.
